A little more about me...
I'm a creative person who's loved drawing since I could hold a crayon as a little kid, but I never got serious about it until I was around 8 or so. I started drawing digitally at 10 (I think?) and the rest is history.One of my favorite things to do is to spread good vibes and create little worlds that make you smile when you look at them!In addition to visual art, I love making music and participate in a Eurovision spoof called "Eurovisn't" in which we make our own songs and compete with them! I'm also quite prone to gushing about things that I love.My "Jennaverse" - or the world where the characters I created in live - is my pride and joy. Below you can see some of these characters...
"What does jemibuni mean and why are you called that?"
It's a nickname a friend came up with, based on a misspelling of my name and the word "bunny."
"What software do you use for your creations?"
For art: iPad + Apple Pencil, installed with ProCreate and Ibis Paint (although I only use Ibis for backgrounds, free materials and some effects, I mainly draw 100% in ProCreate).For music: Mainly Logic Pro on iPad and SoundTrap on PC. I also used to use MuseScore on PC and GarageBand for iPad but currently only use them when I need certain instruments.
"What are some of your inspirations?"
I'm inspired by pretty much anything I see that appeals to me - this includes artsy buddies, clothes and color palettes I see around, flowers and other natural things...But in particular I have to say the art styles of comics/graphic novels, cartoons, and cutesy "mascot/merchandise characters" (e.g. Sanrio characters, Strawberry Shortcake, Tutti Cuti, etc.) are among some of my biggest inspirations!
"Do you take free requests/commissions/art trades?"
Not at the moment, although I do trades with close friends only when I have time!
"What are some pearls of wisdom you want to share?"
-Hard work pays off, so keep going at whatever you want to do. Taking small steps is better than taking none at all!
-It's never too late to reinvent yourself or start what you've always wanted to do but never got up to!
-Be kind both to others and yourself, especially when the world around you seems unkind.
-Prioritize your own peace and be patient with yourself!
-Focus on what you are and the reality, rather than what you're not or the "what ifs."
